Warning: Spoilers ahead for the Scrubs revival Season 2 premiere!According to showrunner Aseem Batra, Ken Jenkins won’t be reprising his role as Dr. Bob Kelso in Scrubs this season. The confirmation came at the same time she revealed Johnny Kastl’s expected return as Dr. Doug Murphy before Season 2 is done. Still, even though Kelso is once more being touted as a Scrubs revival absentee, that hasn’t stopped the show from revealing more about the character. Interestingly, although most returning Scrubs legacy characters have had more revealed about their lives after the original series, a major part of Kelso’s mindset during the sitcom’s golden age is what has recently been cleared up.
