Warning: This article contains SPOILERS for Verity. The much-anticipated adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s Verity is now playing in theaters, and the thriller brings audiences on a wild and twisty ride they won’t soon forget. It’s very similar to the book in that regard, and its ending raises just as many questions as the source material. The film sees Dakota Johnson playing Lowen, a struggling author who’s offered the deal of a lifetime: to finish the beloved Noble Virtues series of the famous Verity Crawford (Anne Hathaway). Verity has been paralyzed in an accident, and she’s unable to write the last three books herself.
