It’s difficult to overstate just how much of a surprise Apple TV’s Severancefelt like. With Ben Stiller serving as director and Adam Scott starring in the project, along with John Turturro, Patricia Arquette, and Christopher Walken, it’s not that such a combination of talent couldn’t pull off a compelling series; instead, it was one of many Apple TV series that felt like it came out of nowhere, debuting on the platform back in 2022 with what felt like little fanfare.
