It might not be his go-to genre, but Tom Hardy is still a bona fide action star.Mad Max: Fury Road put him on the map in the genre, but Netflix’s Havoc, the Venom trilogy, Christopher Nolan’s Inception and The Dark Knight Rises, and Warrior are all fantastic action flicks (and some are even genuinely good movies… but not Venom). In 2015, the same year as Fury Road, Hardy released another action movie. As well as being one of his most critically acclaimed, it’s also making a major comeback on streaming.
