As we get closer to the spooky season, one of Liam Neeson‘s supernatural thrillers is set to land on free streaming in just a couple of hours. A 114-minute feature adaptation of Shirley Jackson’s novel (made famous by Mike Flanagan on Netflix), this scare fest was heavily criticized upon release and faded into obscurity soon after. Nevertheless, it does deserve a re-evaluation, and now that it’ll be available to watch for free, there’s no better time to revisit it.
