‘Ted’ Officially Returns as Peacock Sets New Series Release Date
Peacock released the first official teaser trailer for Ted: The Animated Series, the animated sequel to Seth MacFarlane’s two Ted movies and the live-action Ted streaming series. In just over 20 seconds of footage, MacFarlane returns as the titular talking teddy bear alongside Mark Wahlberg’s John Bennett, who joke about being able to do anything they want with no consequences now that they are animated. John misfires on a backflip before an anvil falls on his back, and Ted reveals that the series will begin streaming on Dec. 17, 2026. The first eight episodes will arrive on that date, with more coming to Peacock later in 2027.
