There are still decades to go before the 21st century comes to a close, but there have already been many amazing fantasy TV shows to debut since 2001 — and the best of them promise to stay relevant for years to come. The 21st century has seen an absolute explosion in fantasy projects on-screen, from The Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter movies in the 2000s, to Game of Thrones throughout the 2010s, to the post-Game of Thrones wave of TV shows in the 2020s.
