The Fate of HBO Max & Paramount+ Confirmed as Skydance Builds Netflix’s Biggest Rival
Those following the Skydance acquisition of Paramount and now Warner Bros. may be feeling a case of whiplash, as news about executives and streaming services bounce from one development to another. What we do know is that HBO’s Casey Bloys will be overseeing all of HBO Max and Paramount+ content while James Gunn and Peter Safran remain at DC Studios. Warner Bros. movie production chiefs have been replaced by Paramount’s Josh Greenstein and Dana Goldberg as David Ellison announced his full C-suite lineup. But questions still remain about the streamers and linear cable networks.
