Reported by Deadline, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have plans to re-release Spider-Man: Brand New Day in theaters after its initial run ends. This will include extra footage not used in the original release; while much of that footage has not been revealed, part of it will bring back Rosario Dawson’s Claire Temple. This will be her first time appearing in the MCU since Luke Cage Season 2 in 2018, and it also marks her first MCU movie appearance. Dawson first brought Claire Temple to prominence in the first two seasons of Netflix’s Daredevil and appeared in at least one episode of every show in the Defenders Saga except The Punisher.
