Scannell Acquires 130-Acre Buckeye Industrial Site
Scannell Properties acquired close to 130 acres off State Route 85 and Southern Avenue in Buckeye from Arizona Land Consulting for $ 32.5 million. Arizona Land Consulting purchased the property in 2024 for $18.3 million. A previous owner had the town’s approval for a 2-million-square-foot industrial campus.
The Phoenix Business Journal reports a new developer is taking the reins, although Arizona Land Consulting maintains an interest in the project.
Cushman and Wakefield’s Andy Markham, Phil Haenel, Michael Haenel, Foster Bundy Justin Smith and Brian Lee represented both the buyer and seller.
A site plan for the property is currently going through Buckeye’s administrative review process.
Scannell specializes in build-to-suit and speculative projects for the industrial, office, and multifamily markets. Since 1990, it has developed more than 140 million square feet, with an annual development volume exceeding $5 billion.
