It’s not often that a remake of a classic Western goes on to have as much success as the original. While reboots like True Grit and The Magnificent Seven enjoyed tremendous acclaim, others, such as The Lone Ranger and The Alamo, were universally panned and flopped at the box office. When a remake hits, though, it really hits, as was the case with a 19-year-old Western that’s once again a smash thanks to streaming.
