The remake was officially announced back in April, with Mortal Kombat and The Raid star Joe Taslim all set to take the lead as the Baba Yaga-esque killer who begins as a humble pawnshop owner before revealing himself to be one of the world’s most elite assassins after a local girl goes missing.
