A little over a month after its debut, the biggest movie in the world on Prime Video has finally been dethroned by a sultry newcomer that’s dominating streaming. Released on July 22, Masters of the Universe might have been a box office bomb, but the reboot of the sword-and-sorcery franchise definitely found its audience on streaming. The hit movie has consistently been in the #1 spot since its arrival on Prime, but now it appears to have lost a bit of its momentum thanks to a steamy new adaptation that’s dividing viewers and critics.
