Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. has appointed Alex Duggan as Head of BPO International, according to a press release. Duggan brings 30 years of experience across investment banking operations, business transformation and commercial leadership, most recently serving as Capital Markets Business Unit Head at Cognizant in London. He will report to Mike Sleightholme, President of Broadridge International.

Jay Biondo has joined Eventus as Head of Product & Regulatory Affairs, based in Chicago area, according to a press release. Reporting to Eventus CEO Cameron Routh, Biondo has more than 25 years of experience in financial regulation and enforcement, legal and trade surveillance roles, most recently as Head of Surveillance at Trading Technologies (TT).

RBC Global Asset Management has appointed Ivan Pelipenko as a senior trader, covering global fixed income and currencies, according to The Trade. He joins the asset manager after more than 18 years at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, where he began in 2007 as a Principal focused on emerging markets fixed income and currencies. He will be based in Toronto and brings more than 20 years of experience across portfolio management and trading to the role.  

Gresham Technologies has appointed Davit Harutyunyan as Chief Product & AI Officer, a newly unified role overseeing product strategy, innovation, and AI across the company’s full portfolio. According to a press release, Harutyunyan joins with two decades of product leadership across capital markets technology, most recently as Head of Product, Platform & Innovation at Allvue Systems, with earlier roles at Fidessa and CQG spanning electronic trading, market data, and algorithmic trading systems.

Brown Brothers Harriman announced Kevin Stone will become BBH’s new Managing Partner, serving as the firm’s chief executive for BBH’s two businesses, Capital Partners and Investor Services, succeeding the retiring Bill Tyree. The transition will become effective January 1, 2027. Since joining BBH in 1992, Stobe has held senior positions across Service Delivery, Treasury and Finance. According to a press release, he currently serves as BBH’s Chief Financial Officer and a Partner, has been a member of its Executive Committee for more than a decade, chairs the Finance Committee and has global responsibility for Finance, Compliance and Human Resources.

Crisil Coalition Greenwich has appointed Dan Barnes as Head of Europe, Market Structure & Technology, according to a press release. Barnes joins Crisil Coalition Greenwich from Markets Media, where he served most recently as Chief Executive Officer, Europe, leading all aspects of the global multimedia company’s European business and its coverage of institutional trading, investment and banking. In addition to his role at Markets Media, Barnes was the co-founder of Trader TV and The DESK. Earlier in his journalism career, Barnes was a contributor to leading financial news outlets, including Bloomberg, Financial News, Risk, The Banker, and several others.

Berkshire Hathaway Inc. has announced that Warren E. Buffett has been named Chairman Emeritus, effective immediately, in recognition of his extraordinary contributions to Berkshire and its owners. According to a press statement, Buffett will remain a member of the Board of Directors and will continue to offer his valued judgment and perspective. Consistent with the company’s long-standing succession plan, the Board has elected Howard G. Buffett, a Berkshire director since 1993, as Chairman of the Board. Susan L. Decker will continue to serve as Lead Independent Director.
