Even six years later, I still haven’t forgiven Netflix for canceling Altered Carbon. It isn’t often that a cyberpunk show graces our screens, and the live-action adaptation of Richard K. Morgan’s books was one of the best I’ve ever seen within the underrepresented sci-fi subgenre. Thankfully, an equally promising-looking spiritual successor looms on the horizon over at Apple TV. If it can avoid making the same fatal mistake as Altered Carbon, I’m hoping we can get more than two seasons and an open-ended conclusion.
