Just over 10 years ago, in the summer of 2016, a sci-fithriller premiered on Netflix. It had a premise that is as wild as it is accessible: a young boy disappears from his small hometown, and his friends work together to find him. A greater evil lurks nearby, though. Many other hit TV shows have arrived on the streaming service since, from several great Harlan Coben adaptations to five series by Mike Flanagan. We’ve watched great detectives like Assane Diop on Lupin, been on the edge of our seats when watching The Night Agent, and tried to guess the killer on His & Hers.
