Earlier this year, Netflix debuted its new crime thriller Nemesis. The showfollows two men on opposite sides of the law: Y’lan Noel plays Coltrane Wilder, a master thief and career criminal looking to make one last big score; and Matthew Law plays Isaiah Stiles, the LAPD detective obsessed with bringing him to justice. The series, which drew comparisons to Michael Mann’s 1995 crime thriller Heat, took the top spot on Netflix’s charts in the United States after the first season dropped on May 14. It went on to spend five weeks in the streamer’s worldwide top 10 for English-language series.
