There’s a new sci-fi series taking over on Netflix, and it’s already beaten the streamer’s biggest western. Netflix seems to be moving from one gigantic new series to another. 2026 has already seen Man on Fire, Teach You a Lesson, I Will Find You, and His & Hers, as well as new seasons of Bridgerton, One Piece, and Stranger Things come and go from the streaming charts. Earlier this month, Netflix dropped its eagerly anticipated East of Eden adaptation, starring Florence Pugh, and it quickly shot to the top of the streaming charts. But that victory has been short-lived, as it has already been dethroned.
