It has been an exciting time for digital video-on-demand releases. Just this past week, Spider-Man: Brand New Day made its digital debut after an incredibly successful box office run, and news of Christopher Nolan’s epic adaptation of Homer’s The Odyssey dropped today, revealing that the movie will finally be available to watch at home with a November 17 digital release, four months after it released in theaters. The timeframe between theatrical release and VOD varies by movie, with box office performance and word-of-mouth hype usually determining which films go to digital storefronts earlier. Now, another big movie that just released in September is available to watch at home, featuring an impressive cast, including Michael Fassbender.
