Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Spider-Man: Brand New Day star Sadie Sink discussed her future in the MCU as Jean Grey. Asked if she had met with X-Men director Jake Schreier, she noted meeting him for the first time when he came to watch her on Broadway in ‘John Proctor Is the Villain,’ which was during “the early stages of putting X-Men together.” Considering she was “the only mutant that had been established” at that point, she recalled talking with him about casting and the script shared her excitement “to think about what’s next for her” as Jean Grey:
