Deadline reported that Marvel Studios is circling Samara Weaving to play the role of Emma Frost in the MCU’s first X-Men movie. Director Jake Schreier and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige reportedly met with a number of candidates in the last few weeks and landed on Frost to take on the role earlier this week. Weaving is now the first actor to officially be cast in Marvel Studios’ X-Men film, which is still in the early stages of development and does not have a release timeframe.
