Spoiler Alert: This article contains spoilers for ‘Silo’ Season 3, Episode 9.While he was the biggest villain in Silo 18 for some time, Bernard (Tim Robbins) has done a complete 180 on the Apple TV sci-fi series Silo. The character’s return was surprising, but perhaps his character arc was even more shocking. I loved to loathe Bernard from the very beginning, the subtly tyrannical head of IT who clearly didn’t have the residents’ best interests in mind. The penultimate episode of Silo Season 3, “Farewell,” provides context for his actions and paints Bernard in a more favorable light.
