Hulu just dropped its darkest, most intense, and most R-rated crime thriller yet, and audiences cannot get enough of it on streaming. As audiences become obsessed with realism in TV shows, crime thrillers have slowly been getting darker, grittier, and bloodier. True Detective arguably started the trend, but the TV landscape is littered with brutal police thrillers and crime-laden action series. Hulu is the latest to jump on the trend with its brand new, 100% rated thriller. As well as being one of the darkest, it’s also one of the best (if that Rotten Tomatoes score didn’t give it away).
