Since revisiting Game of Thrones for the first time since the divisive series finale, I’ve always wondered if Daenerys Targaryen’s (Emilia Clarke) influence on her three dragons — Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion — was based purely on Valyrian magic, motherly instinct, telepathic powers, or something else. Granted, Dany has a special maternal bond with all three dragons after hatching them through sacrificial blood and fire, and she seemingly has full dominion over their every move.
