Ever since he burst onto the scene in 2002 with the historical adventure The Count of Monte Cristo, I’ve made a deliberate effort to watch every new action movie starring Henry Cavill. There have been some absolute clunkers on his resume, notably Night Hunter, The Cold Light of Day, and the big-budget box-office bomb Argylle. However, for the most part, Cavill has chosen projects wisely when it comes to his mainstream action exploits. After all, you don’t ascend to playing Superman and Geralt of Rivia for nothing.
