Ethan Hawke‘s “truthstorian” journalistmade an incredible first impression in The Lowdownlast year. The Hulu crime dramedy series, which follows a truth-obsessed bookstore owner and self-proclaimed journalist named Lee Raybon (Hawke), was praised by critics for its atmospheric grit, scrappy characters, and neo-noir storytelling.
