DC Studios is in the midst of adding exciting new stories to the new DC Universe, having released Supergirl in theaters in July and fast approaching the end of Lanterns‘ run on HBO Max. This run will continue in a few weeks with the release of the DCU’s first true horror movie, Clayface, bringing one of Batman’s wildest villains to the big screen for the first time in his own solo film. The movie is directed by James Watkins and written by Mike Flanagan, both of whom have long legacies in the horror genre.
