It has been quite a while since Anna Kendrick was primarily associated with Pitch Perfect. Over the past year or so, the director of Woman of the Hour has continued building momentum on both sides of the camera. Following the success of her directorial debut, she is set to reunite with Netflix to direct an adaptation of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, one of the more closely watched book-to-screen projects in development.
