Fantasy books are frequently viewed as big commitments, as so many of them cross the 500-page mark, and even the ones that don’t often require readers to absorb complex world-building and magic systems. Add in the fact that many are part of a series comprised of multiple long and complicated books, and it’s no surprise the genre can feel overwhelming. Fortunately, it’s not completely devoid of fast-paced, bingeable titles. Readers just need to know where to look.
