20 Years Before the Apple TV Sci-Fi Series, ABC Delivered an ‘Invasion’ of Its Own
Apple TV+’s sci-fi series Invasion wrapped its third season in October 2025 on a cliffhanger, and a fourth season has yet to be confirmed. Developed by Simon Kinberg and David Weil, the series takes a ground-level view of an alien invasion, following a diverse group of survivors around the world as they realize how ill-equipped they are to fend off an extraterrestrial aggressor. Kinberg has been open about wanting a fourth and final chapter, framing the show as a planned four-season arc, though Apple had not greenlit it as of this writing.
