Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey is his most ambitious venture yet, and not just because he chose to shoot the entire movie with IMAX cameras. The sweeping scale of the adventure is the most grandiose he’s ever attempted, and its record-breaking box office haul is evidence that he succeeded on just about every front. While there was plenty of manufactured online controversy leading up to the movie’s release, it did approximately nothing to stem the excitement of the movie-going public.
