The end of the summer movie season in August also marked the start of the Fall release schedule, with September bringing plenty of exciting and unconventional releases. Movies such as By Any Means, Mayday, and Fall 2: Deadpoint kicked off the month, though the most unique release came from South Korean director Na Hong-jin. The filmmaker is known for his 2008 debut, The Chaser, and the 2016 film The Wailing. Surprisingly, it took a decade for his next movie to be released. Titled Hope and distributed by NEON, the South Korean film may have a digital release date.
