Breaking Benjamin stop gig to rant about ‘Fallout 4’ “bully”
Hard rockers Breaking Benjamin stopped a headline gig so vocalist Benjamin Burnley could promote his mod for Fallout 4.
Fallout 4 was released back in 2015 and more than a decade later, the game remains popular thanks to a dedicated community of players who create and share their own mods for the survival-adventure title.
Turns out one of those modders is Breaking Benjamin’s vocalist Benjamin Burnley. Over the weekend, he stopped the band’s headline gig at the Holmdel PNC Bank Arts Center to talk to the crowd about his latest creation for a solid five minutes (via Reddit).
“How many gamers do we have out there? How many people play Fallout 4? And how many people out there play Fallout 4 with mods,” he asked the crowd before admitting that he was an “amateur modder” who’s made creations for both Skyrim and Fallout 4. “I’m sorry that a lot of you are not going to know what the fuck I’m talking about,” he added.

He went on to encourage the crowd to download his latest Fallout 4 mod True First Person which “makes it so when you’re in first person, you stay in first person.”
“I’m going to tell you why I’m doing this. There was this modder in the community that was really mean and bullying me, telling me ‘You don’t know what you’re doing.’ When you share a mod, you’re supposed to be able to learn, grow and make it better but right off the bat, this asshole was shitting on my creation. So I’m doing this announcement every night to blow his downloads out the water. Please help me destroy this fucking jerk,” Burnley explained. “I’ll be doing this every night until I reach a million downloads.”
Benjamin Burnley’s Fallout 4 mod is available via Nexus Mods and has been downloaded 3,160 times since its release at the start of the month.
It’s not the first time Breaking Benjamin has dabbled in the world of video games either. The rock band created ‘Blow Me Away’ for the Halo 2 soundtrack back in 2004.
