As a devoted Prime Video subscriber, I’ve noticed several hits and misses regarding the platform’s newest original TV series in 2026. I’d be lying if I didn’t say I had much higher expectations for Scarpetta, for example, a star-studded crime thriller that pairs Oscar winners Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis. Yet, for every misfire that also includes the sparkless Legally Blonde prequel spin-off, Elle, there’s an outstanding series to make up for it.
