Anya Taylor-Joy’s $2.3 Billion Fantasy Adventure Franchise Gets Sequel Status Update
Anya Taylor-Joy is almost at the end of a massive year in the movie world, starring in some of 2026’s biggest releases. Notably, she reprised her role as Peach in The Super Mario Galaxy movie, which became the first of five movies this year to gross over $1 billion at the global box office. She also has two major streaming releases, Apple TV’s Lucky and Netflix’s Sacrifice, before she returns to the Dune universe as Alia Atreides in Dune: Part Three on Dec. 18, 2026.
