Closing out a massive year of theatrical releases, Skydance (after the Warner Bros. Discovery/Paramount Pictures merger) will hit the big screen with Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Three. This movie will help add to what should be the biggest weekend of the year upon its release, as it debuts in theaters on the same day as Marvel Studios’ expected mega-blockbuster Avengers: Doomsday. Even with stiff competition, the new sci-fi epic is expected to make an imprint at the box office.
