  • Cozen O’Connor has added to its Real Estate practice with the hiring of renowned leasing attorney Russell G. Wohl. Wohl comes to the firm from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and brings decades of experience representing major landlords and tenants throughout New York City. He will chair Cozen O’Connor’s Real Estate Leasing practice and be based in the New York City office. 
  • Stonehenge NYC has promoted Mark Shepelskiy to CFO. Since joining Stonehenge in 2008, Mr. Shepelskiy has assumed progressively senior responsibilities across the firm’s finance and accounting functions, most recently serving as Chief Accounting Officer.  
  • Cohen & Company Capital Markets, a division of Cohen & Company Securities, LLC, has launched a dedicated private credit advisory practice, further expanding its capital markets platform. The new offering provides middle-market companies with tailored debt financing solutions and specialized credit expertise alongside CCM’s established M&A advisory and public and private capital-raising capabilities. To lead the practice, CCM has appointed Daniel Sheriff as Managing Director, Head of Private Credit and Christian Watson as Director of Private Credit. 
  • Huntsman Architectural Group has hired Susanne Fox as Senior Interior Designer.  Based in the firm’s New York City office, Fox will support projects nationally across the firm’s three locations – San Francisco, Chicago and New York City.   
  • CohnReznick, a leading professional services firm announced that Youmna Assad has joined the firm as an Assurance Partner in its Commercial Real Estate practice. Assad has more than 20 years of public accounting experience, with focus on the real estate and investment funds industries.  
  • Conversant Capital LLC , an opportunistic real estate investment firm headquartered in Summit, NJ, closed its inaugural private investment fund, Conversant Private Investment Fund , with $845 million in equity capital commitments. This includes approximately $705 million in equity capital commitments raised for the commingled fund, exceeding its original target of $500 million by more than 40%, with the remainder raised for dedicated co-investment vehicles.  
  • AppWork, a maintenance management platform used by multifamily operators nationwide, formed a partnership with Rely, an AI-powered due diligence platform for multifamily real estate. The integration connects AppWork’s inspection data directly with Rely’s audit reports, giving property teams, buyers, and lenders one accurate picture of every asset without piecing it together from thousands of separate documents.
