Tom Cruise has had quite an up-and-down run in Hollywood over the last few years, especially after delivering one of the 21st century’s biggest hits in 2022’s Top Gun: Maverick. Since then, he closed out his run as Ethan Hunt in the Mission: Impossible movies, with two new entries (Dead Reckoning and The Final Reckoning) coming out in 2023 and 2025. Now, after adding to his list of legacy sequels and action adventures, Cruise is hoping to bring something different to the spotlight with an original story he has wanted to get off the ground for years.
