TBC Bank Uzbekistan (TBC UZ), one of the country’s largest digital banks and part of the TBC Uzbekistan ecosystem, today announces the expansion of its flagship TBC Salom debit card, which will now be issued in partnership with UZCARD, a leading domestics payments platform in Uzbekistan.

The partnership builds on strong demand for TBC Bank Uzbekistan’s flagship daily banking product, which is also issued via Humo and Visa. Since launching the initial product in late 2024, TBC Salom issuance has risen more than ten-fold, reaching a total of 1.2 million cards in circulation by 30th June 2026.

TBC Salom unlocks many benefits for TBC Bank Uzbekistan customers, including 12% annual interest on deposits, 5% cashback at partner merchants, as well as free cash transfers and ATM withdrawals. Exclusive to TBC Salom by UZCARD are special discounted fares with ATTO – the fare payments system which operates across large parts of the country’s public transport network, further cementing the card’s position as an essential tool for daily life.

TBC Bank Uzbekistan and UZCARD have unveiled plans to issue up to one million new TBC Salom cards as part of the first phase of this project, with scope for additional developments as the project expands over time.

This expansion of TBC Salom card further strengthens TBC Bank Uzbekistan’s market-leading retail banking offering and supports its strategy to increase engagement across the TBC Uzbekistan ecosystem. Alongside TBC Osmon credit card, TBC Salom plays an important role as the key entry point into the ecosystem, unlocking opportunities to introduce customers to its wider product offering, from lending to BNPL, business banking, insurance, travel and ticketing and more.

As part of the initial rollout of TBC Salom by UZCARD, the bank will be offering 5% cashback on all purchases for the first month after card activation. The promotion will run until 31st December 2026.
