Waymo is nearing a deal to lease three floors of space at Elecor Properties’ One Market Plaza in San Francisco, including two floors once occupied by Alphabet Inc.’s Google, the San Francisco Business Times reported. The self-driving car company, which reportedly has signed a letter of intent for the space, would occupy a total of 120,000 square feet on floors three through five

Google occupied the third and fourth floors for years as part of 320,000 square feet it leased at One Market before exiting the property in 2025. The fifth floor was previously occupied by Morgan Lewis, which had a 150,000-square-foot office in the complex before it relocated to the Transamerica Pyramid earlier this year.

For Waymo, the move to One Market would represent a sizable expansion. The company currently occupies slightly less than 80,000 square feet at 555 Market St.
