Marvel Studios is in the midst of a massive year in theaters, as its collaboration with Sony Pictures on Spider-Man: Brand New Day is currently the biggest movie of 2026. The MCU looks to continue this trend of dominance in December with Avengers: Doomsday, which is tracking so well that it could even outdo what the Spider-Man sequel has achieved; the fifth Avengers movie is already looking at $50 million in ticket pre-sales more than four months ahead of its release. Then, there is also a major re-release the studio is prepping for, as Avengers: Endgame looks to return to prominence.
