Trademark Inks Financing, to Break Ground on Cypress Retail Center

Trademark Property Company and its partner, MetLife Investment Management, secured financing and will soon begin construction on Dunham Pointe, a 202,000 square foot retail and restaurant district in the Houston suburb of Cypress. Trademark will break ground on the 25-acre project on Oct. 1.
Dunham Pointe will be anchored by Whole Foods Market, one of 14 tenants that have already committed to the project. Active lease negotiations are underway with more than 12 tenants totaling 65,000 square feet, and letters of intent from more than 10 additional retailers reflect strong demand for the project.
The development is part of the larger 1,300-acre Dunham Pointe master-planned community, where strong new-home sales have helped accelerate the community’s evolution from a residential destination into a mixed-use hub for northwest Houston.
Dunham Pointe is joining Trademark’s portfolio of Houston-area properties, which includes Market Street – The Woodlands.
