Nicolas Cage’s Raunchy Crime Trilogy Returns in New Action Thriller Sequel Trailer
The original Bad Lieutenantmovie, directed by Abel Ferrara, came out in 1992. It stars Harvey Keitel as an unnamed New York City police officer who gambles, does a lot of drugs, and is generally very corrupt. In 2009, an unofficial sequel called Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans was released in theaters. Directed by Werner Herzog, the film stars Nicolas Cage as the titular bad lieutenant, a drug-addicted cop who abuses his position.
