As part of a new multi-title deal, Netflix is developing a feature-film adaptation of Sega’s long-running racing game, Crazy Taxi, as reported by Variety. This movie will be written by Dan Gregor and Doug Mand, best known for their recent work on the hit 2025 reboot of The Naked Gun. Original Film’s Neal H. Moritz and Toby Ascher, along with Sega’s Toru Nakahara, will also join the project as producers. This will be one of three new titles in development for Netflix and Sega, which are also delivering a new animated Sonic the Hedgehog kids’ series and a movie based on the video game Stranger Than Heaven.
