Landman is my favorite Taylor Sheridan show, so I’m extremely excited about the latest update. The Neo-Western show has officially found its Jon Hamm replacement, and there is no one better. Hamm is currently the lead star of Apple TV’s Emmy-nominated crime drama, Your Friends & Neighbors. On Landman, Hamm portrayed Monty Miller, the owner of the M-Tex oil company and the boss of the show’s protagonist, Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton). The actor only appeared in a few episodes as Monty suffered a heart attack in the Season 1 finale and ultimately died after an unsuccessful heart transplant.
