Camden Pays $88.6M for Nashville Apartment Highrise

Camden Property Trust acquired the Harlowe multifamily community in Nashville’s Gulch neighborhood. The price was $88.6 milion or nearly $300,000 a unit. The apartment complex will be redubbed Camden Gulch.

The Nashville Business Journal reports that Greystar was the seller and the developer, having bought the property at 908 Division St. in 2019.

The 16-story Harlowe apartment tower opened in 2022 and offers 300 units. The building is 93.7% occupied.

Camden Property Trust is a real estate investment trust, or REIT, that owns and operates more than 167 apartment communities across the U.S. The firm now owns six apartment developments in the Nashville area, including a Franklin complex the firm bought in June for $43.5 million.
