With Season 5 set to conclude the Paramount+ prequel in 2027, the writers have now officially recognized the need to lay the groundwork for those Original Series absentees to head for the exit. The two Enterprise crew members whose lack of appearances in The Original Series need explaining the most are Lt. Erica Ortegas (Melissa Navia) and Lt. La’An Noonien-Singh (Christina Chong).
