ON THE MOVE: MEMX Appoints John Barreiro; Northern Trust Wealth Management Expands New York Team

  

MEMX has hired John Barreiro as a Relationship Manager, according to an email sent to Traders Magazine. Barreiro brings more than 15 years of experience in electronic trading and equities market structure. Prior to MEMX, he spent over a decade at Cboe Global Markets, most recently as Senior Director and Head of U.S. Equities Sales, where he led sales strategy and client relationships across multiple U.S. equities exchanges, market data products, and connectivity services. He has extensive experience working with banks, asset managers, broker-dealers, and proprietary trading firms, helping clients navigate market structure and adopt high-performance trading infrastructure. At MEMX, Barreiro will be focusing on member engagement across numerous strategic initiatives, with particular focus on the equities exchange where his extensive insights and relationships can be an impact to all areas of our member base.

Gloria Fieldcamp

Northern Trust Wealth Management has expanded its New York team with Senior Lead Relationship Manager Gloria Fieldcamp and Senior Relationship Manager James Le Rose, according to a press release. Fieldcamp advises founders, entrepreneurs, business owners, executives and multigenerational and cross-border families on integrated wealth strategies. Before joining Northern Trust, she spent 14 years at Fiduciary Trust International where she was a Managing Director and Senior Wealth Director. Le Rose develops personalized wealth strategies for high-net-worth families, drawing on more than 30 years of experience in wealth management, private banking and financial services. Before joining Northern Trust, he spent 13 years at Fiduciary Trust International where he was a Managing Director.

Bill Bors

BMO Capital Markets has hired Bill Bors in New York as it continues to build out its equities sales and trading franchise, according to The TabbFORUM. Bors joins from Barclays, where he spent five years and most recently served as head of New York cash sales trading, following a 32-year career at Credit Suisse. The appointment adds another senior equities hire to BMO’s roster this year, following the additions of Christopher Limentani to its cash equities team and Joe Kostandoff in an equities leadership role

Joe Russo has returned to Tradition as an equity dealer, Global Trading reported. He is based in London, where Michael Anderson is CEO of the firm. Russo has more than 20 years of industry experience, and was an equity trader at Tradition between 2005 and 2008. He later went on to work as an equity trader at ETX Capital and Zodiac Partners, and was an electronic equity trader at TP ICAP until 2023.
