Despite his age, Ridley Scott is a filmmaker who has shown no signs of slowing down. The Oscar-nominated director has taken only a couple of years’ breaks between movies, and the scale of each new project has only increased. His latest film, The Dog Stars, is also the 30th of his career. It’s an impressive milestone, though that doesn’t mean that Scott is going to slow down. The director’s next project is an adaptation of Treasure Island, starring Hugh Jackman and written by Jack Thorne (best known for the limited series Adolescence). Interestingly, Scott is also developing a long-awaited sequel.
