Slated for a May 5, 2028, release, it’s never too early to get a jump on the MCU’s untitled reboot of The X-Men. After all, Marvel Studios has reportedly made great efforts to formulate a 10-year plan for the mutant superheroes following the events of Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars, setting up a new generation of young actors to fill the iconic roles in a multifilm rollout that will adapt several unexplored comic storylines. But honestly, at what point do you alienate the fanbase by omitting some of the most crucial, original X-Men members?
